Since 1976
Fifty years of keeping West Bengal's motors running.
Chowdhury Electricals started in 1976 as a single motor-repair bench. A burnt-out pump on a farm, a stalled motor in a workshop — people brought us what had stopped working, and we got it running again. Half a century and three generations later, that's still the heart of what we do.
Over the years the workshop grew into a full electrical store. Today we stock genuine switchgear, wires, pumps, motors, and components from the names people trust — Siemens, L&T, BCH, Havells, Crompton, Kirloskar, Polycab, Finolex and more — alongside carefully refurbished motors, each one rewound, fitted with new bearings, and load-tested before it earns a place on our floor.
Now we're bringing the same shop online — so a customer three districts away can order with the same confidence as a neighbour at the counter. Browse the catalogue, send your motor in for repair, or just message us on WhatsApp. The workshop is the same, the family is the same, and so is the promise: honest goods, honest work, honest prices.
